JayTim fake dating here we go! (Sorry for typos I’m rewatching Cowboy Bebop while typing)*They were forced to pretend for so long that they start to act like a couple even when they are alone together. (Sliding into each other’s space, holding hands during movie marathons, etc) When they notice what’s happening they break apart with stuttered excuses and red faces.
*The first night they’re done with the undercover assignment and sleeping by themselves Jason can’t fall asleep because the bed seems too empty and Tim misses how warm Jason kept him at night.
*The first time they kiss it’s to fool an audience. They had to kiss to keep their cover, but Tim slipping his tongue into Jason’s mouth was completely unnecessary.
*Jason wasn’t very good at acting like Tim’s boyfriend at first (he’s not sure how one acts in a relationship) Tim is a good enough actor to cover for it though, telling everyone Jason is shy.
*Tim tries to go on a date with someone after the mission, realizes how boring they are compared to Jason, and that finally convinces him to start a real relationship with Jay.
