The Last LGBT person to be nominated for Best Actress in a Leading role was Ellen Page in 2007. 11 years ago.

The Last LGBT person to be nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role was Ian McKellen in 2001. 17 years ago.

The Last LGBT person to be nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting role was Anna Paquin in 1993. 25 years ago.

There have been over 52 straight actors nominated for playing LGBT roles: As a comparison there have only ever been 45 LGBT actors/actresses nominated EVER.

No one who is openly part of the LGBT community at the time of their nomination has won any of the Actor/Actress categories EVER. 

There are 0 LGBT people nominated in any main categories at the 2018 Oscars.

If Timothee Chalamet wins tonight he will become 12th Straight person to win an Oscar for playing an LGBT person. 

Please do not say that there are no roles for gay people. Please do not say that we are not just as talented as straight people. Please do not say it is a percentage thing and that there are less gay’s in Hollywood than straights. You are wrong. It is all bias.
