lovecraft is one of the greatest writers of all time but oh whoops, he also happened to be something of a racist (obviously very rare among 1920s white men) so let’s ignore historical context and cultural climate and invalidate his entire legacy as the godfather of cosmic horror and a genius author because his cat was named something offensive
