They might kill Timothy because there are too many robins and Tim is an odd man out. They don’t understand that Red Robin is a different hero, he’s not robin anymore. Tim saved Bruce three times: 1) after jason’s death (including scarecrow’s attack), 2) when he’s lost in time, 3) when Bruce almost gone too far with Frankenstein. He gives so much for batfamily but yeah tHeRe ArE tOo mAnY RoBINs
You see that pic? Yes, no more Timothy in Batman’s group. Even when he’s not dead but it’s clear that they don’t care anymore about him. RIP Timothy, you will be missed. I’d be sitting here reading pre-52 comics while preparing adoption paper.

She’s right. I saw the above “Bat-family” drawing the other day and realized that DC really is killing Tim off. I’ve long said that once Damian was given Robin Tim’s days as a relevant character were numbered. DC has no interest in developing Tim any further than he is – which is no where. They took everything that made him special and slowly grafted it onto other characters. Now he’s not Robin, he’s not allowed to develop as an independent hero (the way Dick evolved into Nightwing and Jason into Red Hood) so Tim is essentially stuck in plot-line limbo. Even if DC decides not to take the big (and utterly predictable) step of killing another Robin, Tim is as good as dead. I suspect he’ll be put on the plot-line bus out of town, never to be heard from again.
Does this mean he’ll stay gone if they bump him off? Probably not since very few characters in the DC Universe seem to be able to stay dead. My prediction is that he’ll show up in a year or two, raised from the great beyond and brainwashed by Ra’s so that Tim Drake can be the heir the Demon’s Head always wanted. This will give Bruce and Damian more angst, which is DC’s default story-telling method.
Could I be wrong? I hope so but I have the unpleasant feeling I’m not.
Tbh I’m 100% if they kill Timothy only to resurrect him using Lazarus Pit by Ra’s. Wow, league of assassin Timothy? Interesting plot. Tim will be the villain you don’t want to see, because he knows, he knows how to defeat you, he may be not strong enough for now but with the help of LoA, damn, you better watch out B. I’m into that as long as they won’t fuck him up like what they did in ‘tec comic, let him be a real villain instead someone they need to be kicked around. The one that the family can’t defeat, not because they can’t but also because it’s hard for them to do it. It will shake the entire batfam, because this is ‘now’ Timothy, not Timothy from another dimension or Timothy from the future (because future can change), this is the real Timothy, who has died and returned from the dead. Ra’s won’t let them touch him and Timothy, himself, won’t let them touch him, it will be a great chase, if only I’m good enough to draw it I have so many ideas about it ;____;
