I’ve been having trouble sleeping lately so I stay up and watch nature documentaries to remind myself there’s lots of wonder in the world. I’ve heard of pika’s before, but not the North American pika that lives in the Rocky Mountains. These little floofs spend the summer collecting stockpiles of flowers and sweet grasses for winter snacking, and shout really loudly when they’ve been wronged by others.

My class pretended to play dead.

Just as the Mayans predicted, the apocalypse came with the signal of a cough.

these middle schoolers read better than my high school honors english class

I REALLY HAVE TO REBLOG THIS IM SORRY THE FUCKING TEACHER

“Stop being dead right now”

That’s the reaction of an adult who delights in what you just did, but is in the position of Enforcing The Rules, so they have to tell you to stop anyway

Every time I see that glee face he gets its like “fine I guess I’ll reblog”

THIS IS SO UPSETTING

Oooh, I saw this in a Vsauce video! This is called Lahaina Noon and it literally only happens in Hawaii, a couple of times a year around late spring and early summer, generally in May and June.

The even has led to this sculpture, called Sky Gate, by Isamu Noguchi

which, during Lahaina Noon, casts a shadow

that is perfectly circular.

@callingallspacecadets because you’re a huge science nerd

Don’t date men who dont do housework/chores until they’re asked.

By that I mean: it is not your responsibility alone to keep track of and manage the household labour and chores.

Do not date someone who expects you to tally and distribute tasks like they’re a child getting chores from their parents.

You should never feel like the parent nagging for chores to be done before playtime in an adult partnership.

There’s a really great comic about this too.

Read the comic.

Read the comic!

Tom Holland does Rihanna’s “Umbrella” on Lip Sync Battle

I’m literally zendaya reacting like he didn’t have to go that hard and yet..

every time i watch this when the reveal hits and he starts dancing i’m like “oh ok that ain’t a big deal he’s just another celeb doing a gimmick” but somehow by the end of this video without fail i am filled with respect for him and zendaya for being like…a powerful gen z couple who both give off chaotic bisexual vibes

i think it’s the irreverence with which he splashes the water

that was a classic that was a classic

It’s a good time to remember that Tom Holland is a trained dancer and that initself is a gift

He’s trained in ballet, too, which is what makes this even funnier. I saw a video (also with Zendaya in it) of him doing like, fifteen flouettes in someone’s basement. GET A MAN WHO CAN DO BOTH.

Jason Peter Todd absolutely stress bakes. %110 will bake if worried or angry. If he’s working a rough case with the rest of the bats you can see him in the manor kitchen with a bit of flour on his cheek making his forth pie with a batch of cookies in the oven and asking someone to taste the cake batter he has set aside to see if it needs more sugar.

(He and Alfred always take the extras to the orphanages and homeless shelters)
